Aims and activities

Unity of Man originates from the World Conference on Unity of Man convened by Sant Kirpal Singh in 1974. Before Sant Kirpal Singh left His body on 21 August 1974, He commissioned His disciple Dr. Harbhajan Singh to carry on His further work together with his wife Surinder Kaur (Bhiji). Strictly maintaining the commandments of Sant Kirpal Singh they kept the teaching pure like crystal and proved themselves as Gurmukhs or perfect disciples.

This was meant when Sant Kirpal Singh declared that He wanted to work with thousands of hands: through perfect disciples. Asked about a successor, He replied, "You are all my ambassadors, you are all my Saints."

Aims:

• to enable man to rediscover his spiritual possibilities of self- and God-realization
• to give criteria to distinguish between spirituality and occultism, and to point out the dangers of astral experiences, spiritual healing, and different esoteric techniques
• to promote a deeper understanding of the higher values of life
• to create a consciousness of unity at large
• to further religious tolerance by pointing out the common spiritual essence of all religions

• free lectures and scriptures
• conferences on unity of man
• centres accessible for all
• Kirpal Sagar – a project for man-making and man-service

  All activities are performed in an honorary capacity and the
  resources are derived exclusively from voluntary contributions.
